Spent 4 hours today wandering Belfast and taking pictures.

Here are some of the best ones (including the Titanic Museum, Queen’s University, and the Lagan River and environs):

Florence and Verona–with slide show

I took a short break after my grades were in but before I have to teach in the summer program and go over to England for the Fulbright Endcap to drop down to Italy and hang out with my friends Chad and John (and a really nice friend of theirs).  Florence is mainly where we where, and then I went back through Verona where I had a day to myself to wander.

Lovely, lovely, lovely.  And hot.  But it was nice to feel hot (like a real summer–you don’t get that in the North.)  Lots of lovely prosecco and good poetry craic.  Plus a pair of shoes…very nice, but not the high end ones I wanted the most.

Just back in the flat gathering myself, so here’s a bit of a slideshow to keep you going.
